About the Class
In today’s digital age, children can easily become overly attached to phones and electronic devices, gradually losing their creativity. This course uses artistic creation to help children rediscover focus, imagination, and the joy of hands-on expression.
Starting from the basics of points, lines, planes, and color blending, students are guided to combine shapes and colors creatively, enhancing their visual expression, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. Each time a child quietly picks up a brush and draws with focus, they are entering a dialogue with their inner world, immersing themselves in a pure creative experience away from distractions.
The course embraces a wide variety of materials, including watercolor, crayons, pastels, clay, acrylic, markers, and even natural elements like flowers, leaves, and stones. It also integrates music and color teaching — for example, relating primary colors (red, yellow, blue) to major musical scales, bright and joyful tones — helping children experience beauty through both sight and sound.
Taught by an instructor with backgrounds in both music and visual arts, this rich and diverse program nurtures children's body, mind, and spirit, encouraging them to grow through beauty and to find their unique artistic voice.
Materials needed for class: pencils, paper, colored pens, watercolors, etc.
